All Spirit-class ships measure in right around 85,000–88,000 gross tons, so they’re smaller, but still beloved. Just a short time later, Carnival had planned to send the ship to China for cruise itineraries there, but that plan was canceled and the ship went back to the Caribbean. During the online check-in process, you'll choose whether your child aged 9 to 11 will have in-and-out privileges with their Sign-and-Sail card or if they're only permitted to leave when you come to get them. Kids under 9 always require a parent or guardian present before they can leave. The ship's shopping complex is called the Yellow Brick Road, and is located on Deck 3.

Inside, two floor-to-ceiling windows open up the space, and in addition to ample storage space, the bathroom comes with a whirlpool tub and shower, a bidet, double sinks and a separate, spacious vanity area with its own sink as well. There are hardwood floors at the entry, a slightly larger desk, an L-shaped couch and USB charging ports near the bed. Carnival Miracle's main restaurant for dinner is the Bacchus Dining Room, which is named after the Greek god of wine. There is only one dining room on all Spirit-class ships, while even older Carnival ships feature two main restaurants. However, the two-deck-high Bacchus easily accommodates all guests in two seatings or on a flexible basis, via "Your Choice Dining" program.
Club O2, located on Deck 10, just above the Lido Deck, is the hangout for teens age 15 to 17. They'll find a full array of gaming consoles and a soda bar (accessed with their Sign-and-Sail card), a dance floor, music-listening stations, plus such activities as karaoke, dance classes and midnight mini-golf excursions. A typical sailing on Carnival Miracle is flush with families, making activities and services for kids a top priority. Watch for a fee-added Green Eggs and Ham breakfast hosted by the Cat in the Hat, and a Seuss-a-Palooza parade through the Atrium lobby with Dr. Seuss characters followed by an interactive story-time hosted by the ship's cruise director. There's also a Wizards Video Arcade, located behind the Phantom Theater in Deck 4 that kids will love.

This is the type of cabin we had for our cruise, and although we expected to have limited views over the lifeboat, what we didn't expect was a wall that jutted out about 10 feet on one side, completely obscuring our forward view. Carnival Miracle 2020 upgrades include new dining options such as Guy’s Burger Joint, RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Cantina, as well as the addition of WaterWorks water slides. Spirit-class ships include Carnival Spirit, Carnival Pride, Carnival Legend, Carnival Miracle and Carnival Luminosa. However, do note that Carnival Luminosa was originally built as Costa Luminosa, but was then transferred over to the Spirit class, meaning it’s not exactly built to the specifications used for the original Spirit class. There are four categories of suites on Carnival Miracle, starting with Junior Suites. Suite perks include priority check-in, express boarding and debarkation, priority main dining room time assignment, pillow-top mattresses, and bathrobes. The Carnival Miracle layout means only cabins on decks 1 (Riviera Deck) and 4 (Main Deck) share space with loud public spaces. Those, to us, would be the top Carnival Miracle rooms to avoid. However, light sleepers will also want to stay away from Deck 8 (Panorama) cabins, as they are directly below the pools and buffet restaurant. The Carnival Miracle’s best deck for a good night’s sleep would be either deck 5 (Upper), deck 6 (Empress) or deck 7 (Verandah).
